Liverpool, the European Capital of Culture,  is only thirty minutes away through the Mersey tunnel or you could drive to Birkenhead and go across the Mersey on the famous ‘Ferry ‘cross the Mersey’.  Visit Albert Drock and Cavern Walks (the Beatles) and much more.

North Wales
We are only five miles from the Welsh border which has towns like Conwy and Caernarvon and you can easily return for evening.
